Spring is in the Air!
Even though there is still an 'r' in the month and the days are beginning to lengthen filming outside can result in that 'grey look'. But on a beautiful sunny morning recently we captured some stuning images for the NARGC [National Association of Regional Game Councils] on the safe handling of venison from the moment it is shot by the trained hunter until it is deliver to a game handling facility.
On the completion phase are DVDs on a tourism theme. Filmed in the midlands these short video will be used primarily on websites to promote individual service providers in the tourist industry.
The 'Trad le Cheile' concert (4 camera shoot) DVD has hit the streets -hurray hurray. 'It's Strictly Dancing' has followed close behind.
In post-production news Aura Productions are currently completing a dvd for Monaghan Integrated Development - a nice, uplifting piece on the best practice for social inclusion within communities.
Aura Productions footage from the 'Low Energy Low Emissions Concrete Home' was featured on UTV recently.
Filming has been completed in an educational DVD for the Department of Education & Science under curricular development through The Primary Professional Development Service (PPDS). The DVD will be used to support and develop teacher skills in the Primary School Curriculum.
A Filming has been completed for OGRA Skincare in London recently.
The office and studio has an international feel to it at the moment with our Spanish intern Miguel spending some time with us. We are not sure if he will last the pace as it seems that he may not be able for the social life of Irish weekends!
Bord na Mona commissioned Aura to produce a DVD on the growing of willow as an energy crop. On a further energy-related theme, shooting is near complete on Ireland's first A-rated concrete home.
Production has completed on a programme that will trace the history of the Nenagh Heritage Centre. This DVD will be used as an Audio Visual aid to visitors at the centre and will also educate the public as to the services provided by the Genealogy unit also located in this building.
